The section from the main city to Fuling along the Yangtze River Expressway passes through four districts: Nan'an District, Banan District, Changshou District and Fuling District, including the main line from the main city to Fuling and the branch line from the main city to Changshou. The whole line is in the shape of a "Y". After starting from the starting point of Yinglong in Nan'an District, it branches off at Shuanghekou in Banan District. The main line continues to Fuling, and the branch line leads to Changshou Yanjia Chemical Industry Park.

Among them, the main city to Fuling is 65.74 kilometers long. It starts near the tea garden development zone in the eastern section of the Outer Ring Expressway. 沿江高速主城至涪陵段，經南岸區、巴南區、長壽區和涪陵區4個區，包括主城到涪陵的主線、主城到長壽的支線。整個線路呈“Y”字形，從南岸區迎龍起點上道后，在巴南區雙河口分岔，主線繼續通往涪陵，支線則通往長壽晏家化工園區。

　　其中，主城到涪陵長65.74公里，起于外環高速公路東段茶園開發區附近，從迎龍上道，經木洞、豐盛、雙河口、兩匯、藺市到涪陵，接在建的涪陵至豐都的涪豐高速。約40分鐘單趟就能到達，是主城到涪陵最近的一條路。
